Strategic Hire Reinforces Growing West Texas Firm’s Status as Premier Regional Practice
AMARILLO, Texas — Founder Ryan Huseman’s vision to build Forté Structural Engineering into the premier independent structural engineering practice in West Texas took another step forward with the addition of Wesley Huseman, PE. Though the two are distant cousins, this is much more than a family affair — Wesley brings over a decade of deep technical expertise and client trust as one of the region’s rising structural engineering leaders.
With Wesley’s arrival, Forté bolsters its ability to serve a growing client base across Amarillo, Midland-Odessa, Lubbock and surrounding markets. The firm is also laying the groundwork for further geographic expansion in the coming years.
“From the beginning, our mission has been to provide structural engineering excellence to our clients and to become the go-to firm of our type in West Texas,” said Ryan Huseman, PE. “Bringing Wesley on board strengthens our ability to deliver on this vision. His technical skills and project experience are a great fit for the culture and brand that we’ve built here at Forté.”
Wesley earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University’s P.C. Rossin College of Engineering. He began his career at Pharis Structural Engineers in Amarillo, where he led and contributed to diverse projects ranging from retail and medical facilities to educational buildings and commercial spaces. His recent work includes convenience store locations in Amarillo and Lubbock, as well as a number of healthcare facility projects.
